Na een succesvolle eerste editie van de Squadra Summer Ride 2023, organiseren wij dit jaar voor het eerst het Squadra Summer Weekend voor alle leden van onze zusterwielerverenigingen! Wat is het summer weekend? Heel simpel, op zaterdag 1 juni organiseren wij de Stucu GP Squadra Veloce, met daarna een heerlijk diner bij wielercafé Cyklist, en een dik feest bij Café Costa! Squadra regelt het vervoer van bagage. Slaapplekken en een veilige stalling van de fietsen worden verzorgd door het studenten sport centrum (SSCE), zodat iedereen de volgende dag fris en fruitig aan de start staat van onze jaarlijkse zomertoertocht, met de keuze uit verschillede afstanden!

Wat is inbegrepen?

• Vervoer van bagage tussen station Eindhoven, wielerbaan Valkenswaard, SSCE, en Cyklist
• Vermaak en sfeer tijdens de StuCup
• Diner bij Wielercafé Cyklist inclusief drankje
• Feest bij Café Costa met de hele avond korting op bier
• Slaapplek in een sporthal op het SSCE
• Stalling van fietsen op het SSCE in een afgesloten ruimte
• Ontbijt op de uni
• Ticket voor de Squadra toertocht, keuze uit 75, 110 of 140km, met verzorgingspunt onderweg, mekaniekers, en drankje achteraf
• WhatsApp community voor alle informatie vooraf en tijdens het Summer Weekend

Belangrijke informatie:

• Inschrijving van de StuCup is niet inbegrepen, zodat het ook toegankelijk blijft om alleen te komen supporten. Wil je dus meedoen met de GP Squadra Veloce, schijf je dan in via de KNWU website!
• Je moet in het bezit zijn van een geldig bewijs van inschrijving van een MBO, HBO of WO deeltijd of voltijd opleiding, bijvoorbeeld een studentenkaart. (+1 jaar na afstuderen ook geldig).

After a successful first edition of the Squadra Summer Ride in 2023, this year Squadra Veloce is expanding it by organizing the first-ever Squadra Summer Weekend for members of all our sister student cycling associations in the Netherlands. On Saturday, June 1, we will host the GP Squadra Veloce student cup, followed by a delicious dinner at cycling Café Cyklist and an amazing party at Café Costa! Sleeping places and safe storage for bicycles are provided by the Student Sports Center (SSCE) and we will take good care of your luggage while you are cycling or busy having fun. On Sunday, June 2 starting from Café Cyklist, everyone is up bright and early to join the Squadra Summer ride, with three distances to choose from!

What is included?

• Luggage transport from Eindhoven Centraal to Valkenswaard, SSCE and Cyklist
• Entertainment and a good atmosphere during the student cup
• Dinner at Wielercafé Cyklist including a drink
• Party at Café Costa with a discount on drinks all evening
• A sleeping place in a sports hall at the SSCE
• Bicycle storage in a closed and safe area in the SSCE
• Breakfast on campus
• Ticket for the Squadra Summer Ride (75, 110 or 140 km), with halfway stop including snacks and mechanical assistance. Afterwards, a drink will be waiting for you at Cyklist
• A Whatsapp community for more detailed information and the schedule

Things to keep in mind

• You must have a student card or proof of enrollment in an MBO / HBO or WO part-time or full-time education, please bring it as well. (+ 1 year after graduation also allowed).
• The price for the summer weekend does NOT include the student cup, you will need to sign up for the student cup yourself via the KNWU if you wish to compete.
