Track training

From February to October, we train on the cycling track at OpNoord. The training is split into two groups, with the beginners and less experienced cyclists training from 18:00 to 19:30. This is the ideal training group to get accustomed to cycling, and improve your skills. The second group training is from 19:30 to 21:00 and is aimed at experienced cyclists. The track training focuses on intervals, speed, and technique. Every month, there is a dedicated race training, and there are several internal competitions organized at the track.

It is mandatory to wear a helmet at the track training. If you don’t have one, that is no problem. Just make sure to borrow one from us! Don’t have a bike? Also that can be arranged for you, as we have several loaner bikes in every size, ready to go! Are you a complete beginner to cycling? We gladly assist you in improving your skills, but for track safety, you join Thursday’s beginner group first, where you can get used to the bike, and we teach you the basics. After the training, members can enjoy a warm or cold drink and a fun chat at our sponsor OpNoord Pavilion.

Please review the track rules below, to ensure safe training for everyone!
