Squadra Internal race competition
The Squadra Internal Race Competition (SIRC) is Squadra Veloce’s internal competition. The competition consists of six to eight parts which, apart from the Eindhoven Student Cup, are run on Tuesday nights during training hours. After each part, the leader in both the men’s and women’s races receive a leader’s jersey, which they hope to keep until after the last part.
Student Cups
The Student Cup is a series of races organised for students in different student cities. There are 3 categories in which they compete for victory, namely: the ladies with and without a licence (together), the men with a licence and the men without a licence. The scores of the different teams are also added together for a team classification. To ride the student cup, a basic membership with the KNWU is a requirement.
The student cup is a good way to get acquainted with riding races, or for the experienced competitive rider to compete for the best student cyclist. Squadra Veloce therefore has a delegation in all categories and often competes for the win!
